    I am a retired classroom teacher who taught for over 30 years in a school district in upstate New York. Upon retiring, I discovered online teaching, and thoroughly enjoyed teaching dedicated students on the VIPKID platform for 4.5 years.     My work as a classroom teacher and online instructor has enabled me to work with students at multiple levels of achievement. For the very young student, interactive activities provides a springboard to learning! Additionally, phonemic awareness and sound/symbol instruction provide a solid foundation for reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary development. For the advanced student, targeting grammar and challenging vocabulary builds verbal confidence and success.
